Obama and Thorium

If Barack Obama were to marshal America’s vast scientific and strategic resources behind a new Manhattan Project, he might reasonably hope to reinvent the global energy landscape and sketch an end to our dependence on fossil fuels within three to five years.

Thorium Energy Conference 2010 to be held in London

The 2010 Thorium Energy Conference, sponsored by the International Thorium Energy Organisation, will be held this year at the Royal Institution in London.

The conference will be held from the 18th to 20th October, with a pre-conference reception on Sunday 17th.

ThorEA report now available

We are pleased to announce that the new ThorEA report, ‘Towards An Alternative Nuclear Future’, is now available to download. Produced in association with the UK Science and Technology Facilities Council and other collaborators, this report outlines our vision for hybrid accelerator-driven nuclear reactors as a safe and sustainable form of low-carbon electricity, which is a technology the UK can exploit in the global marketplace.
